You can easily turn them into small plants and grow their own home-made tomatoes in a few weeks. Using this way, you can of course not only the tomato seeds that dwell somewhere in the fridge, but also the tomatoes that taste the most, and you are afraid that you will not be able to show up next time in the store.
How to do it?
Use unnecessary or redundant tomatoes on castors, approximately 0.5 to 0.8 mm thick, and place them in a larger flowerpot where you have prepared a good quality soil, preferably the one suitable for growing vegetables. For future tomato growth, a pot of at least 30 cm diameter is recommended. Then lightly cover the tomatoes with another layer of this soil.
How do tomatoes grow in pots?
Approximately two weeks after you have put the tomato wheels in the flower pot, you should see the first results – shoots of new plants. Tomato wheels, of course, included tomato seeds, which grasped the soil and began to create a new plant. When the small sprouts grow a little, it is advisable to tear the seedlings lightly into the pot and then plant them again in another flower pot so that the small tomatoes have enough room for further growth. It is essential throughout the process to provide tomatoes with plenty of moisture and regular watering. For the cultivation, glazed balconies facing south or west are best suited for fertilizers and small plants.
In this simple way, you can grow your own tomatoes at home or on the balcony, which will always be fresh and you will never be able to resolve what you have bought extra. If you have a garden, you can later plant the plants without any difficulty in the soil in the garden or in the greenhouse.
